4 states in Peninsular Malaysia to get public holiday.

KUALA LUMPUR, 1 March 2022 - 4 states in peninsular Malaysia to get public holiday on today (1 March 2022) in conjunction with Israk & Mikraj.

These states are in Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis & Terengganu only while other states will continue to work as usual.

The Israk & Mikraj also referred to as the night journey, according to Islam, was a journey that the Prophet Muhammad took during a single night around the year 621. Within Islam, it signifies both a physical and spiritual journey.
