According to Minister of Tourism Sarawak, Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said that the new museum will incorporative immersive and interactive experiences for visitors by utilising audio-visual technology and augmented reality.
He was speaking to reporters during press conference of the launching ceremony for the new museum today.
Borneo Culture Museum will make it's history as the biggest museum in Malaysia and second largest in Southeast Asia.
This launch was originally held in 2020 but postpone due to COVID-19.
It will be reopen to public on 9 March 2022.
This new museum was begin construction in 2014.
